چکیده

How chaos is useful in the brain information processing is greatly unknown. Here, we show that the statistical property of chaos such as invariant measures naturally organized under a great number of iterations of chaotic mappings can be used for some complex computations, while the precise information of initial conditions which vanishes in the course of iterations deos not matter for this kind of computations. The key observation of the present study is that computation using ergordicity of dynamical systems can be thought of as massively parallel Monte Carlo simulations. Here, to avoid difficulty in elucidating the ergordicity of dynamical systems, we propose computational schemes using the generalized class of one-dimensional chaos with explicit invariant measures. The validity of our results which connect chaos with parallel computation is checked by the precision computations of some transcendental numbers like π.

There exists an exact relationship between the quasi-exactly solvable problems of quantum mechanics and models of square and rectangular random complex matrices. This relationship enables one to reduce the problem of constructing topological (1/N) expansions in random matrix models to the problem of constructing semiclassical expansions for observ-ables in quasi-exactly solvable problems. Lie a...

First examples of quasi-exactly solvable models describing spin-orbital interaction are constructed. In contrast with other examples of matrix quasi-exactly solvable models discussed in the literature up to now, our models admit infinite (but still incomplete) sets of exact (algebraic) solutions. The hamiltonians of these models are hermitian operators of the form H = −∆ +V1(r)+ (s · l)V2(r)+ (...

The maximal family of exactly solvable chaos

A new two-parameter family of ergordic transformations with non-uniform invariant measures on the unit interval I = [0, 1] is found here. The family has a special property that their invariant measures can be explicitly written in terms of algebraic functions of parameters and a dynamical variable. Furthermore, it is also proven here that this family is the most generalized class of exactly sol...

A supersymmetric method for the construction of so-called conditionally exactly solvable quantum systems is reviewed and extended to classical stochastic dynamical systems characterized by a Fokker-Planck equation with drift. A class of drift-potentials on the real line as well as on the half line is constructed for which the associated Fokker-Planck equation can be solved exactly. Explicit dri...

Spin coherent states play a crucial role in defining QESM (quasi-exactly solvable models) establishing a strict correspondence between energy spectra of spin systems and low-lying quantum states for a particle moving in a potential field of a certain form. Spin coherent states are also used for finding the Wigner-Kirkwood expansion and quantum corrections to energy quantization rules. The close...
